Maïmouna Jallow is a Nairobi-based storyteller, writer, and journalist who uses poetry, prose and radio to explore questions around modernity & identity and all that exists in the cracks in between. She has worked as a radio producer for the BBC World Service; as a correspondent in the island nation of São Tomé and Principe; and managed Regional Communications for Medécins Sans Frontières (MSF) in the Horn of Africa region.

Maïmouna’s fiction and poetry been published in the Fifth Draft Anthology and in Fresh Paint. She is an African Literature major (SOAS) and speaks English, French, Spanish and Portuguese. She hosts the monthly Positively African Writers Club at her home in Nairobi.
